The night of 9 November 1938 is worldwide conocida.El the paramilitary group SS of the Nazi Party murdered almost a hundred Jews, and some 30,000 were arrested in Germany and Austria. They destroyed their synagogues, their homes, hospitals and schools, their shops... When the attacks stopped, a good number of broken crystals could be found on the streets. Hence the day known as Kristallnacht. The day before, on 8 November, it will be remembered in Bilbao that night, known internationally as the previous one.
Against hate messages
The demonstration, convened by Koordinadora, Sare Antifaxista and SOS Racism, will start at 19:00 in the afternoon in front of the Arriaga theatre to give way to the demonstration. In addition to denouncing fascism, they want to denounce machismo, xenophobia and racism, as "the messages of hatred directed at different groups do not rest for another day".
