Facts: A shot at home when I was inside the family
On January 6, 2019, a family of the Left Abertzale, known for its militancy, was shot by a pistol in his home kitchen when two relatives were in that room. When this happened around 10:30, two Ertzaines came in, picked up a 9 millimeter bullet and began the investigation.
The defendant initially denied his participation
After inspecting the house shot, the Ertzainas moved to the house of the former national police, just 400 metres from where the shot was received. The defendant explained to the members of the Ertzaintza that he had heard the shot, but that he was not the author.
Asked whether the Ertzainas had firearms, the defendant responded affirmatively and showed them a shotgun in a closet. However, agents saw two boxes to store the guns. At that time the defendant tried to put him in the center, but the Ertzainas intuited several similar calibre munitions that had been seized.
In addition, the Ertzaintza identified three other long weapons on the wall, as well as some obus. By the defendant himself, the Ertzainas carried 191 bullets of 9 millimeters. Of these, 27 were illegal: three had cuts, six were manipulated (they were without projectiles, but someone put the bullet on them) and another 18 were empty ends (this type of ammo is not legal).

On 7 January the Ertzaintza visited the former national police again, which maintained its version, confirming that it had nothing to do with the shooting.
On 10 January, however, more Ertzaines appeared in his house and the defendant acknowledged that he was the author of the shooting and offered explanations of the incident. Then, voluntarily, he directed the agents to hide the weapon used, a natural hole in his house covered with stones. The gun was a 9 millimeter long Star gun and the defendant did not have the permission to do so.
Thus, he was arrested and declared by the agents. In addition, the house was sealed and explored with the permission of the trawl.
An arsenal at home
When exploring the house, the Ertzaintza found a bunch of weapons inside, and a former national police officer not authorized to hold them. In addition, some were manipulated and others had no identification marks.
From the point of view of the ammo, the agents counted 400 bullets of different calibers, but before they stopped counting, they found much more.
In case all this was not enough, the Ertzaintza confiscated more than three kilos of gunpowder and numerous war materials such as bombs. Finally, they found a lot of unused weapons.
