The remains of two other people who were victims of the 1936 military coup were found today in the Ezkaba prison. The remains of two men who tried to escape from the prison were found. Today marks 80 years since that escape and with today’s election a total of 66 have been discovered since 2015.
Thanks to the testimonies of witnesses, it has been possible to find the remains found in Leranoz. The remains are of men between the ages of 19 and 23. Ana Ollo has been a counselor during the exhumation and the children of the Ezkaba in Antsoain were also there at the time of the discovery. In fact, with the program called Schools with Memory they are doing this work with the students.
