The Spanish State, Norway and Ireland have recently made a recognition of the "Palestinian State", with very little or no real involvement. Moreover, the International Criminal Court has recently called for dubious measures such as the arrest of Palestinian resistance activists such as Yahya Sinwar and Zionist authorities such as Benjamin Netanyahu or Yoav Gallant. On the occasion of all these movements, the Solidarity with Palestine platform of the Basque Country has today published a statement: "If these are not properly placed, they can appear as actions for the benefit of Palestine."
"[If these movements are not placed correctly, they can appear as actions for the benefit of Palestine"
At a time when "solutions to end the Palestinian situation are heard everywhere", the platform claims that "the only solution is the decolonization of the whole of Palestine and the disappearance of the Zionist entity": "The only way to overcome the colonial situation is a whole process of decolonization that must lead to the dissolution and destruction of the Zionism of the Israeli colonial and political-military structures."
The platform has thus recalled that on 28 May thousands of people mobilized in Pamplona (Navarra) and "revealed the false solution of the two states".
Requests for detention of the International Criminal Court
Solidarity with Palestine states that the resolution of the International Criminal Court and requests for detention are "unacceptable and colonial" for "equating the aggressor and the assaulted": "Criminalizes the self-defense of the oppressed, sharing responsibility for the conflict between the two sides." However, the platform has explained that there is no "conflict of equals", but "a genocidal entity and a people fighting for their freedom." "Under no circumstances can the oppressor and the oppressed be equated. The colonial barbarity, the legitimate self-defence of an original people, is not comparable", he says.
"[The International Criminal Court resolution] is unacceptable and colonial. Equip the attacker with the attacker."
It also considers that this approach "depoliticizes the conflict" and "focuses on the individuals", "as if the perpetrators of the massacre were concrete people and not the same character as the Zionist entity"; "eliminating the current authorities, as if it were possible that there was another Israel"; and, "removing three militants, as if the resistance ended, when oppression is nothing but the fruit of an objective situation".
"Israel is colonialism, occupation, genocide and apartheid. Israel cannot change", warns again of Solidarity with Palestine. And at the same time, he remembers that Palestine "if it's something" is "its resistance." "If it's lasted until today, that's why."
"Depoliticize conflict and focus it on individuals"
As if that were not enough, the measures of the International Criminal Court are simply far-reaching: it has no competence in the Zionist State of Israel and would therefore not directly affect its authority.
Recognition of the Spanish State, Norway and Ireland
With regard to the alleged recognition of several governments to Palestine, Solidarity with Palestine has denounced that this movement promoted by the Government of Spain is nothing more than "electoral misrepresentation". Beyond this, he has announced that this recognition is not "a solution at all", highlighting its limits.
"To consider Nakba as a Palestinian state the few loaves that today remain in the hands of the Palestinians is to justify"
"Which states have recognized it? Isolated plots of the West Bank and Gaza's scavenger enclosure? That is not Palestine. Palestine is a land that goes from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea," the platform asked: "To consider Nakba as a Palestinian state the few loaves that today remain in the hands of the Palestinians is to justify, legitimize occupation and colonization and to recognize the Zionist entity's right to exist."
He has also questioned who exactly is the recognition of the governments of Spain, Norway and Ireland. "As an agent, the Palestinian National Authority recognizes and breaks, the collaborationist institution dependent on Israel, which plays a fundamental role in the repression of Palestinian resistance and is losing legitimacy in the eyes of its people," they explain in today's statement: "It is an attempt to shift the head of the Palestinian resistance and restore the credibility of the Palestinian National Authority to strengthen it as the representative of the Palestinian people."
"The recognition of the Palestinian State is a symbolic and banal action to alleviate the anger against the horrific crimes of the Zionist entity and extinguish the solidarity movement for Palestine"
Solidarity with Palestine has therefore given the warning: "Recognizing the Palestinian State is recognizing the existence of Israel itself, as long as it is not linked to a struggle against the Zionist entity and a process of integral decolonization". It has strongly criticised the behaviour of the European states and entities: "While the imperialist agenda of both the European Union and NATO is being implemented and Israel is being given arms, and without putting pressure on the State of Israel through boycott, divestment and sanctions against it, recognition of the Palestinian State is a symbolic and banal action to alleviate the anger at the horrific crimes of the Zionist entity and extinguish the movement of solidarity with Palestine."
False solution of the two states and criminalization of resistance
"Evidence of the insignificance of these movements is that, after them, instead of stopping or "softening" the genocide, in recent days the Zionist entity has hardened the Rafah bombing"
Solidarity with Palestine considers the aforementioned resolutions and recognitions to be "movements with the same objective". These objectives would be "to strengthen the idea of the solution of the two states, to legitimize the existence of Israel and to supplant a submissive and "acceptable" representation of the Palestinian people, placing international resistance and solidarity in the background". "It shows the fragility of these movements," he said, "after them, instead of stopping or "softening" the genocide, in recent days the Zionist entity has hardened the Rafah bombing, eliminating dozens of live refugees in safe areas."
"Our position must be clear," the platform claimed. It believes that it is "our internationalist mission", "to show our support for colonial resolutions that seek to criminalize Palestinian resistance". It also considers it essential to "continue confronting the false solution of both states": "The recognition of the Palestinian state will not bring refugees home, will not release political prisoners, will not end apartheid, and will not end occupation and colonization."
"The recognition of the Palestinian state will not bring refugees home, will not release political prisoners, will not end apartheid, and will not end occupation and colonization"
"We do not buy false solutions that would be imposed on the Palestinian people," added Solidarity with Palestine. In this regard, it has called "to continue to fight for the freedom of the whole of Palestine and against the Zionist entity and its accomplices".
