How can it be to have as a loss something that has not been admitted? All the new newscasters are announcing that the suspension of benefits will be a kind of apocalypse for Barcelona, and it is given the same treatment as last month in the Ebro Delta.
The word “lose” seems very important to me. It is used, in principle, when you have something that you no longer have. But not all losses are the same. It's not the same to lose the Ibiza you use every day to go to work in a flood, or if you have three high-end cars and one alone. Let's put ourselves in the skin of a farmer who lost everything for a moment, when the Delta watered down.
The lexicon is very important. Because it leads us to think one thing or another. If Congress is not held, they lead us to think that the losses are going to be ours, so that they get us to accept all their machinations.
Hotels, luxury restaurants and multinationals have not yet gained anything. This year, with this event, they have not yet entered a euro, but they have made estimates which, according to the estimates received, would have accumulated a lot of money.
That's how this new capitalism works, and that's how we perceive it in the trend of banks, exchanges and states. Most of us, to lose something, have had to win before, but those who are above us, have created a world where without having anything, they can lose, win or generate profits. They have created a power that most of us do not have and, at the same time, as their prejudices are not fulfilled, they compare us and put us on the same level. And they play with that.
The lexicon is very important. Because it leads us to think one thing or another. And in this case, they lead us to think that, if Congress is not held, the losses will be ours, that way, they get us to accept all their traps. We, the waiters, the sweepstakes, the shopkeepers, the nurses or the factory workers, would earn all those millionaire businesses there, we would not charge a euro, so we will not lose a euro. We, surely not!
