Better Euskoz!
- Euskoa is the first local currency in Europe, with more than a million in Basque circulation, thanks to the dynamics initiated in 2013. Now it is a question of raising a bite, turning the action of paying in Euskoz into the norm, because, better in Euskera!

Thousands of militants from Euskal Herria, through their commitment to the associations or the purchases they make, bet every day on the environment, the Basque country, popular cultivation, local employment or short circuits. They fully coincide with the values of the Basque Country… but they continue to use only the euro, and on the contrary, they would strengthen their daily activity with the Basque Country.
“Better Euskoz! With the motto Avec l’Eusko, c’est mieux!’ we want to encourage all those working for the ecological transition, the Basque country, the local economy or popular cultivation to strengthen their action using Euskera.
Those of us who participate in this movement will be able to enter permanently into a dynamic that respects more the environment of the Basque Country, which is a creative job and which has a stronger presence of the Basque Country in public life.
How do we move on to actions? Today, thanks to the Basque question, it is very easy for the Basque people to accompany you all the time. More than 1 500 people have an open account and since the beginning of the year two more open each day.
This new campaign by Euskoz Hobe is an invitation to go into activities for everyone, simply by opening an account (here) online or going to a Basque Centre to become a member or exchange euros in Basque (here is the list of costumes).
This campaign will continue until Basque Day 2020 with a dinner campaign, reinforcing our presence in different parts of the territory. And that is that this summer we are in more than a dozen parties, in which we will approach citizenship.
