Deported from San Sebastian Women’s Triathlon for speaking Basque

The Observatorio de Derechos Lingüísticas (Observatory of Linguistic Rights) has denounced that in addition to denouncing the Euskarafobos positions on the part of several judges, the judge of the triathlon dismissed a friend for speaking Basque.
They told two athletes such as "Hablad en Castellano", "You can go to me to speak in Castellano", "You can go to Catalonia and speak in Euskera to see what they say", "for my cojones that van a hablar en castellano".
The denouncing athlete says that his sister told the judge that she would do it in Basque, after she said "a mí me vais a hablar en Castellano".
The debate ended with the red card after the athlete told the judge that they had to speak at the end of the test. A complaint has been lodged with the Observatory for Linguistic Rights. The complaint is read in full below.
La Palabra de Irutxulo spoke with the Gipuzkoa Triathlon Federation, who denied that the athlete was expelled for speaking in Basque. "According to the Federation, the judge asked one of the two participants to speak Spanish because he did not understand Basque. This person, however, replied to the judge that he would speak in Basque, and in the ensuing discussion the tension rose for the moment. The federation explains to this media that one day the other participant in the test threatened the judge and was therefore disqualified," reports the San Sebastián media outlet that reported the news.
