2nd edition of Euskaraldia, 2020
- The Euskaraldia project, which will take place in autumn 2020, will have two main axes. On the one hand, those who have been drowning and belarriprest in the first edition will be called upon to continue changing language habits and, on the other hand, steps will be taken for the institutions to make greater use of the Basque language.
In addition to private individuals, the second edition will involve public institutions, companies, businesses or associations, among others. In the first edition, more than 200 entities promoted Euskaraldia, and for next year it is intended to go one step further, increase the use of Euskera in its daily routine, for which they will be asked to make concrete commitments, according to EITB.
On the other hand, the data of 220,000 belarriprest and ahobizi collected by the study carried out last year have been presented. More details on the impact of the first edition of the festival in Bilbao will be given during the summer.
