The organizers of the activity that unites Ahobizi and Belarriprest have joined with "responsibility, enthusiasm and emotion". This message is being disseminated with the arrival of the third edition of the Euskararen Aldia, which is held from November 18 to December 2. Yesterday, 28 September, citizen registration was opened with the event held at the Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao.
Entities – businesses, trade unions, associations and other structures – have until 31 October their own declaration as "arigune".
The Minister for Culture and Linguistic Policy of the Basque Government, Bingen Zupiria, underlined the collaboration between public institutions and social partners and, in short, placed the rest of the rapporteurs in the front line of this collaboration that is based in Euskaraldia. Kike Amonarriz, president of Euskaltzaleen Topagunea, invited citizens to get involved.
In this third edition, citizens will be asked to choose a "typical challenge" or "big" in the field of use: "We need small achievements. We sincerely believe that we will add many achievements when it comes to making progress in increasing the presence of Euskera in society".
These are the commitments of both figures, according to the organizers:

I always make the first words in Basque when I don't know if my colleagues understand in Basque; if they understand it in Basque, I continue in euskera.Aunque sometimes it is difficult, I also keep the Basque in the bilingual conversations when their colleagues understand it."
Flat ear: "Every time I decide when and with whom to do it in Basque. I'm not always going to talk in Basque with everyone who understands it, but I want those who know Basque to talk to me in Basque, and that's what I explicitly ask them to do."
The Basque country is about to finish writing these lines, the end is still insufficient. They will certainly be beautiful, similar to those of a great party.

On November 18, the “Euskaraldia” began, an initiative that aims to promote the use of Euskera among Basque speakers and non-Basque speakers for two weeks. Although I believe that this initiative has shortcomings in some contexts and there is no better veneer than “Good... [+]
