Euskaltzaindia: from an Euskera Academy to a Theirs Academy
The Basque country has multiple facets in the field of the situation or status (in the use of the street, in the home, in the administration, in the literature, in the media, in the situation of the dialects, in the degree of learning of the immigrants...) and in the field of the corpus (in terminology, in toponymy, in technical language, in the corpus of dialects...).
A lot of parties, but, in view of the programme of the Euskaltzaindia Congress, why is Euskera batua practically the only issue? The problem is not that the living language and the general Basque language of the peoples are being lost? And above all, isn't use the main problem?
The use of the street has shown us that we have begun to descend and the congress that the Basque needs now should not focus on use. Or, at least, in the case of the dead bells of the Basque demography, do you mention demographic policy?
Why is Euskaltzaindia helping the science counterparts in Iruña Veleia? Because those graphites that have changed the history of the Basque Country have questioned some theoretical aspects of Koldo Mitxelena?
RAE may be wasting time adding this or that word to the dictionary, but who believes that the main problem facing Euskera today is the unified one?
And why is Euskaltzaindia helping the counterparts to science in Iruña Veleia? Because those graphites that have changed the history of the Basque Country have questioned some theoretical aspects of Koldo Mitxelena? Why has it allowed the Council of Álava, the Basque Government and the UPV/EHU to destroy some areas with excavators? And what does Euskaltzaindia do at the EITB Board of Directors when they repeat a late Euskaldunization documentary full of lies?
