The Basque Confederation calls for the "territorial languages" protest to be held in Paris on the 30th
- The aim of the protest is to condemn the "hard" attacks that the French Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, has made on minority languages.

According to the promoters of Basque cultural activity, these are just a few examples, but in general, since the Minister of Education of the French Government, Jean-Michel Blanquer, attacks on "territorial languages" have been "hardened" throughout the state, the consequences of which are also evident in Euskal Herria. That is why, at a hearing in the Basque Confederation, they have called to participate in an organised mobilisation with representatives of other languages, which will take place next day 30 in Paris at 11:00 in the morning.
The protest, in particular, is organised by the group of Cézkuntza BiziDiren Kolektiboa (Association for the Coexistence of Languages). In addition to the agents working for the Basque Country, there are also groups involved in the promotion of the other “territorial languages” spoken in the State. They have pointed out that they are “at risk of extinction”, the result of the policies undertaken by the French authorities, and that effective measures are essential. They want to make a claim to this in the protest that is going to take place in Paris.
The intention is that Ipar Euskal Herria buses leave the capital to participate in the mobilization.
