The Official College of the Basque Country may limit the prices of rentals in tension localities
- The French Housing Minister, Patrice Vergriet, announced this opportunity on Sunday in the tertulias of Intxauseta. It would come into force from 2025.
Minister Vergriete explained that this option would be possible in 24 locations in the Northern Basque Country in tension, but the College wants to include five other villages, including Senpere. From 2025 the maximum amount possible would be limited.
Vacation rentals such as Airbnb in France can have a 71% tax reduction on the tax.
