Until recently, the European Union (EU) was a calm sea. Everything was going well. We all lived quiet. The high-ranking officials were doing their job very well and the Europeans were happy under their orders. From time to time the peasants were going to the street to show their tractors, but we forgot them quickly. Many immigrants also needed sporadic meetings, but in this sea as large as the EU there were no waves. To show the satisfaction of Europeans with our authorities, Ursula von der Leyen was re-elected President of the European Commission for another five years. We citizens did not choose the President who promises the policy that will develop in this peaceful sea throughout the EU, but we did not attach importance to this small detail and did not want to cause turbulence in this peaceful sea. To demonstrate how pleased we were with the situation, he was appointed with the votes of all PP and PSOE parliamentarians elected by the citizenry. The PP and the PSOE, which appear daily picotazos in the Spanish media, went hand in hand again in this important decision. Wasn't it all great?
Of course it does. Everything was splendid and spectacular until a man named Viktor Orbán broke that beautiful unit. The Hungarians elected him as President and that politician seems to be able to do everything he wants to protect his citizens, among other things, to deal with Community policy of criterion. The President of the Czech Republic believes that the biggest problem we have in Europe is the war in Ukraine. It is normal, because most other politicians also appreciate the problem. But what did I think about Viktor Orban? Well, he decided in the EU, as opposed to the path taken by Macron, Scholz and the other presidents to strengthen and extend that war to Europe, so that he could visit Ukraine, Russia, China and the United States. In order to investigate and activate whether there is a way to accelerate peace. Volodimir met Zelenski, Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Donald Trump respectively. What a value!
Since then, our calm sea has been disturbed. This President has caused the giant wave the surfers dream of and has started to multiply the problems in this EU, which was in a wonderful atmosphere. Following the example of Viktor Orban, the Slovak President, Robert fico, has recognised that he would have gladly helped him on the journey if he had been well. However, he was unable because he had received five shots for proclaiming the end of the Ukrainian war and was still in the process of recovery.
We in the EU have two contradictory political positions. That of those two presidents who argue that the peace process should begin as soon as possible in Ukraine and that of all those who are in favour of sending more arms and more money to Ukraine. Without forgetting that the latter, in order to continue the war against Russia in the coming years, promote that in all the EU states billions of euros more public money will have to be broken down every year.
As Viktor Orban is President of the EU Council until December, he organised his first meeting in Hungary following the EU tradition. However, Von der Leyen banned all the ministers who were called to the meeting and forced them to hold it in Brussels. The EU leaders have begun to take revenge on Viktor Orban for the search for peace in the country.
Recently, Ukraine has denied Hungary and Slovakia that gas coming from Russia passes through Ukraine. This decision is a huge economic disadvantage for those countries, as it accounts for a very high percentage of the energy they need. It should be noted that with this decision Ukraine is doing itself a great deal of economic damage, as it receives numerous currencies in this regard. Has Ukraine taken its own decision to harm itself in that way or has it received an EU order to punish Orban and Fico dissidents?
Hungary and Slovakia have lodged a complaint with the EU’s high level bodies and the EU has taken a decision in favour of Ukraine in considering that it can take the decisions it wishes on its territory. The EU member appears to be Ukraine. No. Hungary and Slovakia, and Ukraine do not. The EU has attacked itself. It has created a great crack. How far will the gap go?
When the war in Ukraine is over, things will change a great deal in the EU. We have begun to smell the end of this war. And also the end of this EU.

We live in a context in which anti-feminist and racist hate speech at the global level is on the rise. Far-right narratives are inserted throughout the world by

Many times, after looking at the brumas from my house, it has occurred to me not to catch umbrellas, even though I know I will just soak up. Why will it be? Maybe you don't want to catch the umbrella? Maybe in the hope that I don't get wet? Nevertheless, the conclusion has always... [+]
I remember when I was 16 years old, the Ertzaintza first identified me in a concentration in favor of the Basque Country before the Bergara courts. We believed that in Euskal Herria it was legitimate to cry for the Euskaldunization of the courts, but then there would also be a... [+]

There are those who say that elections serve only to give legal status to political decisions. And there are not very many who think that way. Okay, but with that, a lot of things are said, among other things, that real power, power, is out of that game.
