The curfew affects fundamental rights and, therefore, “can only have legal coverage through emergency legislation,” the Prosecutor’s Office said. Of the restrictive measures adopted by the Government of Navarre following the state of alarm, it is the only one that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has rejected. Currently, the curfew is between 23:00 and 6:00 hours in the evening. In any event, the decision on the legality of the measures taken by the Government is in the hands of the Court of Justice of Navarra. The court has a deadline until Tuesday for a ruling on the case.
