The conflict of the right to housing in Euskal Herria
- The 8th season of the Labor Economy has begun to address the housing conflict with Karla Pisano, Roser Espelt, Miguel Virizuela and Jon Torner, from Argia. Every two Friday at 11:00 hours the radio program will be broadcast.
The Labor Economy radio program will be broadcast every two Fridays at 11:00, and the first of them, on the housing conflict. By reactivating our union agenda, to publicise the social calls and trade union struggles of the week, we have had three interviews in this session. To begin with, we have talked with the spokesman for the Socialist Housing Union, Karla Pisano, about the direction of the conflict and the demonstration called for on 14 December.
Next, Roser Espelt, member of the Taifa Seminar in Barcelona and new member of the Labor Economy Group, and the economist and editor of El Salto, Miguel Virizuela, will analyze the housing situation and the struggle in Euskal Herria.
Every two Friday at 11:00 we will be dedicated to dealing with and understanding the economic issues thanks to the collaboration between Bilbo Hiria irratia, Hordago, El Salto Radio, Argia and Arrosa sarean.
To complete the programme, and as usual, we will have the Argia section, where the journalist Jon Torner will analyze the new policies for declaring areas of tension in Navarre and the continental Basque Country, with the aim of limiting rent prices. The next sessions will focus on industrial policies (29 November) and Basque public budgets (13 December).
The Labor Economy aims to disseminate the critical analyses addressed from the perspective of workers, based on the current labor struggles and conflicts. Starting from the class perspective and the experience of the repressed majority, we will dedicate ourselves to dealing with and making understand the economic issues thanks to the collaboration between Bilbo Hiria irratia, Hordago, El Salto Radio, Argia and the Arrosa network.
