Grenada C.F. The football team has removed the Basque goalkeeper, Unai Etxebarria, who was the winner. Several media from Andalusia and the Basque Country have confirmed that the contract resolution has been taken by both parties and that "there were sports reasons" for the young man from Getxo to leave the club.
This is an atypical departure, as Granada C.F. has not reported the exit on their social networks, nor has Etxebarria itself. Even when the dossier was opened, everything was kept secret. In fact, a city councillor of Vox, Onofre Miralles, publicly reported that he had requested the opening of a file against the player. Since then, the club and the footballer have taken the issue with total discretion.
Etxebarria attended the celebrations in Granada when he qualified for the European championship with the well-known “Altsasuko aske” t-shirt. In Euskal Herria, thousands of people wear this t-shirt in solidarity with young people imprisoned by the altercation at the Koxka bar in Bilbao. Etxebarria was not mentioned to play, so at first she went unnoticed. However, later, when Vox launched his campaign against him, Vox was launched at full speed.
At the moment, Granada has not officially announced the termination of its contract and has kept Etxebarria on its list of players, on the second team of the club. The goalkeeper, who has been 24 years old, has one more year of contract with the club txuri-urdin. Its sporty origin is located in the Athletic Club quarry.
