A commemorative event was held in Pamplona on 12 October this year at the headquarters of the Government of Navarra: Summoned by Sortu, as an act of protest against the Spanish monarchy, a false statue of Philip VI.aren and another of the conqueror Christopher Columbus, respectively, were thrown down.
This Wednesday it has been known that 12 people have been called to testify at the Spanish National Hearing for their alleged relationship with this action. They are charged with "crimes against the Crown."
One of those cited is Lur Albizu Etxetxetxetxipia. In a message posted on Twitter, the president said that "yesterday were others, today it is us; tomorrow it can be anyone," he added.
Under the motto "we will not be silent", both have appeared before the press to account for their situation.
