"We will use all the legal tools at our disposal to protect the rights of Spain," said the chairman of the management committee of the Spanish Federation, Julián García Angulo, in considering that the procedure of the International Federation of Basque Ball was "irregular and dark", has denied the accusations. The decision of the International Federation should now be ratified by the Spanish Higher Sports Council, to which the Spanish Federation has also addressed: "We hope that the Higher Sports Council will use the criterion of prudence and will not ratify the agreements adopted by the Assembly of the International Federation until all legal entities have made their word public," he added.
The Spanish Federation began the crusade as soon as the decision of the Spanish Federation of Cycling was known.
