The ELA syndicate has denounced that two years ago it told the director of the Academy that "very serious events were taking place during the training process of the students who passed the XXVII promotion. And that, if it were not corrected, there could be, directly or indirectly, gender, sexual diversity, origin or other discrimination." The two candidates who successfully approved the entire selective process were considered unsuitable, specifically in the Sociogram.
ELA explains that in the evaluation tests of the XXVII Training Phase "three times more women than men were discriminated against by the discriminatory methods used". It asked the Basque Government to investigate what happened in the selection process and, if these serious actions are confirmed, to debug all possible responsibilities and seek solutions, "to end these final practices of the Academy". The union has stated that "neither the Basque Government nor the heads of the Basque Language Academy did anything, and the two candidates considered inadequate began the judicial route".
Upon receipt of this judgment, the union asks the Government: Immediate execution of the judgment, with immediate cessation of the head of the Evaluation Service. And let the Sociogram disappear from the selective process: "It is nothing more than a clandestine Big Brother who promotes and rewards the exclusion of candidatures, corporativism and mistrust between colleagues and colleagues, and who can bring discrimination on the basis of gender, sex, political origin, etc. ".
