A solidarity campaign is launched to alleviate the fire damage in the Etumeta village of Errezil

"We want to relaunch the project"
Pastor Josu Soraluze of Caserío Etumeta wrote the following letter on the occasion of the campaign they launched:
In 2017, I entered the grazing project that I've always been excited about. I left my job and committed to a new life project. In order to be able to carry out this project I enrolled in the Gaztenen program and, later, after taking some courses at the Gomiztegi school in Arantzazu, I carried out my practices in the Arreta village of Beizama for six months.
Three years later, and as a result of many works, I managed to make my dream, with the help of the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa (OKA), Lurgintza and my family. But on 21 June 2020, the life of our family got on its feet because of an unfortunate fire. The barn, 129 lambs, a sheep dog, all the work utensils and two tractors were completely burned, we were left with nothing.
The first few days were very disheartened, but we have received great support from those around us, and we have gradually taken on board what happened and we have seen the need to move forward. We want to relaunch our project, and that's why, for those of you who want to collaborate, the Azpeitia Food Center has drawn some raffle bonuses. Once achieved, you will be able to participate in the drawing of a lot of products from Euskal Herria. In addition, we have opened a current account for everyone who wants to make some financial contribution.
