Ernai will hold the Youth Meeting in Berriozar from 17 to 20 April
- It will be held in Berriozar (Navarre) under the motto Jóvenes, because the organization believes that more and more young people are joining the fight for independence. It has been proclaimed that the meeting point is more than a "simple initiative": “It’s a way for young people from all corners of the Basque Country to come together and join forces.”
As the organization explained in its presentation at the Pamplona Lab on Wednesday, we live in a "decisive" context in terms of both "the process of liberation in the Basque Country" and "global challenges": "In order to respond to international challenges, it is necessary to demand sovereignty.At this historic crossroads, independence is the only way to push us into transformative positions.”
Ernai has organized a series of lectures that will deal with "pure" topics such as housing, Basque, climate emergency, student struggle or feminism. To this end, they have also revealed the names of several well-known faces who will speak at the conferences: Arkaitz Goikoetxea, Jule Goikoetxea and Maider Galardi, among others. In addition, there will be workshops, musicals and screenings.
There will also be a varied musical offer throughout the four days, Ernai explained in his presentation his intention to give importance to the "Pamplona scene and the young creative of the Basque Country". Olatz Salvador, Nogen, Sukena and/or Skabidean among the thousands of young people who will gather in Berriozar (Navarre), warn that "some surprise" is yet to be announced.
