“Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of bees and beekeeping thanks to different experiences: work of beekeepers, honey extraction, beekeeping and health, beekeeping and vibration,” they explain on the project website. Azanza is immersed in the project of bees, while Eleta focuses more on the field of relaxation. As you have explained, both projects coincide in Eztitu.
Azanza got into the world of bees about eight years ago: “I loved it from the beginning, and two years ago I decided to quit the job and get into it.” The idea of store and interpretation center came up to them to complete the project and close the sales circuit, and so they've come here. “I understand beekeeping holistically, considering all the areas surrounding the bee and the human being: physical, energetic…”. The center explains how bees live, how they work and their structure, but also takes into account their energy behavior. “Like people, they also look like that.”
Among the services they offer are guided tours, kinesiology, yoga, sound and product tastings. Now, in addition, the lockdown is being used to carry out the new apiculture itinerary: close to the centre, it is a route along a mountain trail, which in summer, instead of giving explanations in the center, are heading to the hive.
Besides the honey they produce in the honey, in the store they have opened offer other products such as propolio, wax, heather honey, cosmetics and also beer. All made with honey or honey. “A local brewer makes beer with our honey, and we do the same with a baker here: he makes a special bread with the honey we send him.”
The doors of the Eztitsu area opened in February, and in the absence of a month, in March, the coronavirus has closed the doors to them. However, the proponents of the project say that they are willing and eager to get back on track as soon as the situation improves.
