That’s why you asked me for explanations and informed me that, in anticipation of these explanations, my militancy was suspended. This decision, according to what you told me, would have been communicated to the leadership of the EPPK and to the militant prisoners who were close to me and, finally, you would have asked me not to make this measure public.

Since it could not be otherwise, I sent you the necessary explanations, I asked you to give me a definitive answer on the precautionary suspension of my militancy. And as for not making it public, I informed you that, in the current situation, this decision was only mine and that I would act in coherence with what the militant conscience told me.

Since I have not received a response from this Board of Directors, I have decided to make public today the position that you maintain with respect to a part of that militancy that you claim to respect. Perhaps by now, no one will care what has happened in recent years in ENAM and, more specifically, in the Organization, how you are acting only with respect for the reformist sector, and what you are doing to a part of your basic militancy.

Euskadi Ta Libertad, the Basque Revolutionary Socialist Organization for National Liberation, was created to liberate the Basque Country and, more specifically, the Basque Working People. To this end, he defined and defined the four objectives of the Basque Revolution: independence, socialism, reunification and re-usability. Everything else, both strategy and tactics, organizational forms, the political line, everything, is a tool to achieve these four objectives. In other words, in Euskadi Ta Libertad the discipline is necessarily at the service of the Basque Revolution and not the other way around. It is a subordinate element to achieve the freedom of the Basque Working People.

This has been proven time and time again in the long history of our organization. From the very beginning, the young revolutionary patriots of EKIN did not accept the blind discipline that the PNV wanted to impose on them, which was the result of a liquidationist political line.

The same thing happened with V. At the time of the Congress, when the Political Office, which was under Spanish and Reformist rule, was expelled because it wanted to liquidate the Basque Revolution. Time and practice have shown quite clearly what the line of that Political Office was and where it went next.

The same phenomenon was repeated during the Sexta period. Some nationalist and revolutionary socialist militants gave priority to the Basque Revolution and understood the militancy within it and in its service. Thanks to this, Spanish and reformist liquidationism was once again defeated. Because everything is subordinated to the maintenance of an adequate strategy for independence, socialism, reunification and re-usification, and is framed within this discipline.

Later, even at the time of the division of the Poly-Miles, it is known that the PMs were a vast majority in the Organization and yet because they understood discipline in this revolutionary way, the Miles moved forward on an appropriate line and strategy. Again, the practice clearly proved who was right and who was wrong.

And it should be remembered that the Poli-Milis later had two divisions, the Especiales and the Milikis, in both of which discipline was again applied in this revolutionary mold, always as an instrument in favor of the Basque Revolution, against all liquidationism and reformism.

History repeats itself today. Our organization held the Assembly in 2007/2008. 80% voted for the military-political revolutionary patriot. If I am not mistaken, the Assembly process ended in March 2009.

That same month, on March 16, 2009, the reformist faction that was already working secretly and secretly offered a press conference, jumping over all roads, channels, rules and disciplines. They proclaimed an “effective strategy”, making it clear that what the Organization decided in its Assembly was not effective. This totally fractional press conference was attended by Otegi, Rodríguez, Zabaleta, Erkizia, Kiroga, Moreno, Diez and Etxaide, among others. It was a public presentation of the reformist faction of the Basque National Liberation Movement.

The most famous apparition took place on November 14, accepting the principles of “Mitchell” on behalf of the entire Patriotic Left, without any discussion. A real coup d'état. It is useless to be outraged by deploring, criticizing and condemning the indiscipline and jukutry of these liquidationist militants. It is a useless task, because, as I said before, discipline is a component that is subordinated within a strategy. He's not the boss but the servant. Therefore, when two strategies emerged clearly within ENAM, two disciplines were automatically created, inevitably and inevitably.

What followed is a well-known matter. Those who did not respect revolutionary discipline at all began to demand discipline and unity from all, left and right and out loud. And a terrible confusion prevailed within the ENAM, because it was not clear who and what unity and discipline was required in favor. The reformists, liquidationists and opportunists made good use of this confluence to destroy not only the armed struggle, but also the whole revolutionary strategy, because it was not about armed struggle yes/armed struggle no blind and sterile debate. The core of the problem was the revolutionary strategy versus the reformist strategy. In 2007/2009, very few activists saw the problem. Today we are seeing more and more, and we have begun to act accordingly.

At this point, I think I have clearly explained my militant position. I have always accepted the discipline within the framework of the nationalist, independentist and revolutionary socialist strategy of Euskadi Ta Libertad. And according to that discipline, according to that militant consciousness, I'm acting the way I'm acting. I am not the one who has broken the discipline, but those of you who have swallowed up the reformist and liquidationist strategy completely and without speaking Chinese. Here's the key!

In 2009/11, all of these issues were deeply intertwined. As a result of this conspiracy, many militants did not see clearly what was happening in our organization in particular and in ENAM in general. But it’s 2017 and now there are no excuses. The issues and issues are clear. There are two strategies today, one reformist and the other revolutionary. One is a liquidationist and the other is a V. In line with the Assembly. One is subordinate to the PNV, more and more clearly, and the other is pro-independence and socialist, honest and consistent with the history of the Organization. And as a result of all this, there are also two disciplines, one reformist and the other revolutionary.

I, like you, have made my choice. The revolutionary praxis will decide who is right and who is not. The last five years, however, have made it clear who we are for the eternal goal and strategy, and the next five will make this even clearer. The Basque Country Worker is aware of this.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say that, as a member of the CPLP, I have decided not to participate in the “internal debate” that is taking place within the CPLP. I do not accept the legitimacy of this because it comes from the same Directorate that forced us to sign the Gernika Agreement without any debate. And after a year of political and media pressure for political prisoners to accept the path of legality (may it be saved), can anyone believe that in this situation, in this context, a debate is serious? That it is possible to discuss freely when we are encouraged to choose between political denial and exclusion? The fact that those in charge of the EA Officer have done so with a group that brings together the most vulnerable and defenseless people is an indicator of what this fraction represents.

You will tell me that, since I do not adhere to your “strategy”, there is no point in continuing to be active in the Organization, nor in the EPPK, since I have positioned myself outside of both. But I don’t see it that way, I’m not separated and I don’t accept to leave the house that is also mine. Hold a fair debate that will make it possible to decide between all the possible options in the post-armed struggle framework. You argue that “amnesty is impossible” but instead consider independence possible (you haven’t talked about socialism for a long time! ). There are claims that are not understood. Have a fair discussion and let the military decide.
