Green Capital has submitted a project for the installation of four 200 metre windmills in Ezkelzu, pending the response of the Government Industry Department. The Andatza-Ezkeltzu Bizirik group has carried out several actions during this spring, including the initiative to be held this Sunday. This departure was made earlier, but time forcibly delayed it until 4 June and the team is confident that a good morning will pass this time.
Along the circular route, Kandido Aizpurua and Lukas Arbeloa, members of the Itsas Enara Association, will explain the birds living in Ezkelzu. In this interview you can read the statements of Aitor Leiza, of Itsas Enara, in his intervention on the birds of Ezkeltzu.
During the tour, historian Manex Arrastoa, a member of Aranzadi, will explain the archaeological heritage of Ezkelu. In Ezkeltzu is the trench with the most diverse material found throughout the Saseta defense system.
The Andatza-Ezkeltzu Bizirik group has prepared an exhibition on the project and the damage it will cause and at the end of the tour you will be able to see in the lunch block. You can see it in:
In order to minimise the number of cars leaving and to bring together those who do not know the way, the organisation team has given the following starting references:
