According to the Basque Department of Security, on 00:20 Monday night, a woman has informed the Ertzaintza that she had suffered a sexual assault in a Oyón dwelling. The woman explained to the police that she had spent several days sharing a floor with a acquaintance and that on Sunday she informed the man that she had decided to pick up the tools and give her the keys to move to another place, she specified the Ertzaintza.
At one point, the man took the woman to a room in which he "threatened him with a baseball stick and punched him with a slap when he tried to get her out of there," the Ertzaintza said. Then, according to the complaint, he forced him to have sexual relations with the minor. The victim was able to leave the family home and from the street called the emergency phone SOS Deiak 112, where the woman is admitted.
Thanks to the information provided by the woman, the agents identified the alleged aggressor and proceeded to his arrest. The victim was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital de Txagorritxu in Vitoria-Gasteiz to be treated by a forensic doctor who has been arrested.
Oyón City Hall has "strongly" condemned the aggression and called a silent rally on Tuesday, December 10, at 12:00 p.m., in front of the town hall. It has also encouraged citizens to participate in it and to participate in other events organized by different social movements.
