Food and hygiene collection begins for the arrival of the Zapatistas
- The Zapatistas’ Return to Spain will soon be held in the Basque Country and preparations for the event have already begun. Among others, they have implemented the collection of food and hygiene products: The products will be picked up at the Zapateneo de Vitoria-Gasteiz until October 30.
The Zapatistas’ Return to Spain will be held in November in the Basque Country and preparations are already underway to organise the arrival. Among other things, a store of hygiene products and food for the youngest has been set up. The products will be collected at the ZAPateneo of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Zapatería 93), from Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 21:00 and on Saturdays in the morning from 11:30 to 13:30. The collection started on Thursday, 14 October, and will be closed on 30 October.
The products they will receive are as follows:
Food
- rice
- paste
- maize flour (precooked)
- wheat flour
- milk
- cookies
- oil
- sugar
- salt
- bean
- lentil
- preservatives (tomato, other vegetables)
Hygiene products
- toothpaste
- shampoo
- soap (gel or pill)
- toilet paper
- bleach
- detergent (for washing machines or dishes)
- blankets, sleeping bags, tents
