REAS has worked for six years in the organization of the "Social Market" in the cities and towns of the CAPV, with the objective of making visible the work of the agents that drive another economy. The seventh edition comes renovated, with a touch of party or celebration, and will be much more flexible and dynamic, according to the organizers.
Thus, instead of the usual stands there will be txokos and round tables and a space has been created to promote relations between the participating institutions, as well as a txosna and a space for the "txikigune".
This year’s edition has been organised by REAS together with OlatuKoop – this is not the first time that the transformative economy network has been dedicated to the organisation of the social market – in the Bilbao Ensanche Market on 8 and 9 November. Over half a hundred agents will participate in the fair, coming from the agricultural sector, communication, ethical banking and finance, service providers, etc. For this purpose, the room will be distributed in different spaces.
Since Friday afternoon they have organized a two-day schedule (pdf): workshops on energy and finance, games related to feminism and conferences, among others. There will also be a special Scappe Room for all who come to the Txosna, where they will be offered the possibility of cooking and tasting exercises.
Also the harvest of ARGIA
ARGIA has a close relationship with the agents of the transformative economy and will also be in Bilbao, in addition to publicizing its communication project, selling products from its fair: books, t-shirts, bags, calendars... All of them will be found in the Ensanche store, on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
