On 15 October the Ertzaintza, with the support of the club, expelled the Palestinian symbol fan from the stadium and threatened the fine. EH Bildu Parliamentarian Julen Arzuaga asked Security Advisor Josu Erkoreka whether he believes that “showing the Palestinian flag” is “illegal” or “target of persecution”.
Arzuaga expands Erkoreka’s response to social media: “In this particular case it was considered appropriate to withdraw the flag, as the Eibar Sports Club counts within its amateur registration book with a sports club called “Peña Eibar Israel”, so the display of that flag could cause security problems during the football match.”
Some users have responded to Arzuaga's chio by criticizing Erkoreka, for example: “The argument of a Zionist, or if there were “Russia”... show the flags of Ukraine forbidden?”
Do you remember the Eibarreans' fondness that was persecuted by the Ertzaintza for displaying the Palestinian flag?

October was another version
Beyond the inadequacy or inadequacy of the answer, the explanations given in October were other. The Club said the League sent an internal circular to clubs to ban symbols. The Department of Security explained that the security services of Eibar requested the presence of the Ertzaintza and that, taking into account the Sport Law, it opened a penalty for the person who expelled it.
Gratitude of the Zionists
As reporter Jon Torner, the rock Eibar-Israel, created in 2015, acknowledged, thanked the football club Eibar for its attitude in that match: “We’re proud of you, Eibar. This is better than the twenty wins in line,” the rock wrote on social media.
