The inconveniences caused by those responsible for the traffic in Gipuzkoa and the Ertzaintza caused all but one members of the Federation to resign last season. The Basque Government has announced that it will set up a bureau in the Basque Parliament to continue with this issue of unconstitutionality. But, seeing that the Jarulería “does not take any step”, cyclists from different clubs and representatives from all over the Basque Country of this sport have come to protest. The march began on the velodrome and lasted for an hour and a half until it reached the Boulevard.

Despite the fact that most young Basque cyclists have warned that this is a problem they are experiencing, they have given particular importance to the situation in Gipuzkoa. In fact, while in Araba and Bizkaia there are usually no problems in meeting the safety of the races, in Gipuzkoa la Ertzaintza argues that there is a lack of personnel to ensure safety. On the contrary, Lakua has defended the existence of sufficient numbers to perform the races with total normality. Osoro has said that the Ertzaintza decision is "incomprehensible" and has denounced that they are treated as "a traffic problem".

The former director of the Federation of Gipuzkoa has asked those with competencies to pass “from seeing that we are a ballast, to seeing that we are a future.” The long-standing cyclist, Abraham Olano, added that the solution is clear, as Naiz says: “We have to take care of base cycling.” The former cyclist has said that the steps to this end should be discussed among all the actors involved, as the concern of the people is "obvious".
