Since the National Union won the European Parliament elections in the continental Basque Country, concerns and protests have increased among citizens. Convened by the trade unions and the Alda Association, on Saturday they went to the streets to claim the need to face the extreme right and to warn of the consequences of the rise of the extreme right.
In the morning, among others, there was a mobilization called by the unions LAB, ELB, CFDT, CGT, UNSA, FSU, Solidaires 64 and the Alda Association, in which it has been shown that the era of "social emergency" is at stake the rights of workers. In addition, the Alda Association has focused on the right to housing.
According to LAB member Eñaut Aramendi, Emmanuel Macron's reforms will lead to a "very serious stage". That is why it has an impact on the "urgency" of uniting left and unions: "We cannot allow ourselves to win over the National Union. We have to create an alternative to the left."
The demonstration took place in a festive atmosphere, with flags and symbols such as flags, Palestine, the LGBTBIAQ+ community and anti-faxist symbols. Many ups and downs have been heard throughout the demonstration, although the main message has been against fascism and a large poster with the motto of the fight against fascism has hung from a wall.

The far-right side is marching, they've brought the carrot to the center of the plaza, they feel beautiful, at the top of the volume. And they win the election. And scared, we look at ourselves. And all wrong. All the impressions of recent times were wrong, how Milei wouldn't... [+]
