This Monday at noon the spokesmen of EH Bildu announced the decision to support Spain’s budgets. They explained that the support is the result of the agreements between EH Bildu and the Government of Spain, and thanked ERC and Podemos for the role played in the negotiation.
The agreement has been submitted by Aizpurua. On the one hand, EH Bildu and the Government of Spain have agreed to "perpetuate" some of the measures taken in the face of the crisis caused by COVID-19. In particular, the “prohibition” of evictions of people without housing alternative and the “temporary suspension” of rentals of people in “vulnerable” economic conditions. Secondly, they explained that they have "unlocked" the legal process to create a fund of EUR 25 million for asbestos victims, which will be in force "in weeks". Finally, both parties have agreed to "collaborate with the Government of Navarra" in the dissemination of ETB3 throughout Navarre before the end of 2022, "an important step in the normalization and promotion of the use of the Basque Country". In addition to these three major agreements, nine investments in the territory of Hego Euskal Herria have also been agreed.
