EH Bildu calls to lift the “wall of dignity” to stop fascism at the demonstration on 20 November

The EH Bildu coalition has stated that on 20 November it was not chosen "randomly". Spokeswoman Garazi Perea explained the importance of the date: “On November 20, Franco died, but not Franco. Parliamentarian Oskar Matute called on the citizens to lift on Saturday the “wall of dignity to stop fascism”: “We will tell Casado, Ayuso, Abascal and Ortega Smith that they have not been able and will not be able to. They have no place in the Basque Country.” He has announced that following the protest at the Bilbao City Hall, Arnaldo Otegi will take the floor and hope that it will be a "turning point" for the future.
They have anticipated that seven commitments will be claimed in the merger: The right to decide, the sharing of wealth, parity, diversity, the Basque language as a national language and the rapprochement of prisoners. The callers include relatives of Basque political prisoners, “young independentists”, the Sortu trade union and the LAB trade union.
