They denounce that the Basque educational pact does not bet on the public
- The Euskal Eskola Publikoa Harro platform has held a rally in front of the Basque Parliament, to which many awards have been given. The Committee on Education of the Basque Parliament has met today in the Basque Parliament to approve the Pact by the Educación.En the outside of Parliament have gathered dozens of people convened by the Euskal platform Eskola Publikoa Harro under the motto 'This agreement is not what public education needs'.
The platform has made a number of criticisms of the agreement, which has been seen for judgment. Firstly, he has denounced that he is "in favour of private education" and "against" public education. “The starting point will be the ‘Basque Public Education Service’, a concept that blurs the ownership of each center, (...) The discriminatory system of both networks will not be overcome by being part of the ‘Basque Public Education Service’ and fulfilling a number of requirements. Segregation and Basque Country
The platform considers that the measures set out in the pre-agreement against school segregation will not be effective: “The municipal registration offices will be to ‘help families do the enrollment’, so private centers will continue to have the opportunity to “filter” families,” they have explained, among other things.
Finally, they have stressed that, instead of making progress in the Basque field, it has regressed: “The immersion model can be suspended, as it leaves the creation of a linguistic project in the hands of each center.”
