The gaztetxe of the Old Donostia Party is in grave danger of eviction, and aware of the situation, both the young and the parents and the children have come to the protest. The children's area of Kijera is, according to the parents, one of the "most pleasant" places to spend time with the child in the neighborhood. From Plaza Zuloaga they have finished the demonstration in front of the City Hall, under the motto "they want to leave us on the street again".
With the help of Porrotx, upon arriving at Alderdi Eder, boys and girls start playing. Between the different workshops, the afternoon has been bustling. On arrival at the City Hall, the children touched the drums as heating in Sansebastián. The demonstration is over in the middle of a big noise. Thus, they have said that they are joining the struggle of the gaztetxe, which is taking place.

Communicated by Haurgune users:
The neighborhood life of the Casco Viejo is very exhausted, mainly due to real estate speculation and the general exploitation of the neighborhood facing tourism. There are no spaces for mutual education, culture and neighborhood that are essential for a healthy neighborhood life.
Thus, a group of young people has recovered the Kaialde building, which has been abandoned for eleven years since September 2018. There, the young Kijera have begun as a neighbourhood space dedicated to mutual education and cultural initiatives. Gaztetxe has appeared open to the different communities of the neighborhood, among them, a refuge and a meeting point for the youngest. Thus, the Haurgune del Casco Viejo has been launched as part of the joint initiative of the members of the Gaztetxe Kijera and a group of fathers and mothers.
Haurgune is an important space for the integral development of our children: a place of play and relationship, a space based on self-management, collaboration, oriented towards co-education, a space where the Basque Country breathes…
But above all those values, the City Council has taken the decision to evict the gaztetxe. And in the face of the situation created, the users of Haurgune ask the City Hall:
