Disney Plus makes no documentary about the Kote Cabezudo case
- The Disney Plus platform was going to release on Wednesday the documentary In their name about the case of Kote Cabezudo, but has not finally done so. The documentary was directed by the journalist Eduardo Mendoza and according to the information published by the newspaper Berria, Mendoza did not want to make any statement about it.
Also, the Disney press service has acknowledged that the premiere was not made on Wednesday, but they say they cannot give more information. However, according to a Madrid newspaper, the premiere will take place in the coming days, and a member of the producer Mr Mono mentioned “operational problems”.
The documentary records the testimonies of some of the 22 women who denounced the Cabezudo and some tell how they were raped.
In 2018, the producer Cuerdos de atar produced a new documentary on the subject, which was sold to the communication team Mediaset, but has not yet been released.
