On May 7, the youth organization Ernai held demonstrations in several capitals of Euskal Herria to denounce “the emergency situation of young people and to reclaim social transformation and sovereignty.”
In total, the Ertzaintza has arrested eight of the alleged members of the eta. Seven of them have made a statement in Bilbao, and the last member of the jury will appear at the Vitoria-Gasteiz Criminal Court on the 24th.
ERNAI has denounced that during the demonstration the Ertzaintza ran over the participants: At the height of the Parliament of Vitoria-Gasteiz, at the end of the demonstration, several people were beaten and a young man was arrested by the Ertzaintza in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The wounded had to be treated in a hospital center with bruises and injuries of a reserved nature.
ERNAI will concentrate on 24 September at 10 a.m. before the Vitoria-Gasteiz Court to denounce the procedure and continue to advocate a "dignified future" for young people.
