Urbizu has explained that doubts are now increasing and it is clear that in addition to the use of water for livestock, the co-operative managing the beef, the Odiet Valley, is using some 105 hectares of water for irrigation in recent years. As Urbizu has published on its website, they have no permits for either.
Urbizu denounces that “this “bioblock”, which is proud to dedicate itself to the circular economy, acts with impunity, and this is yet another irregularity”. The Coordinator points out that the number of hazelnuts used by cowboys in livestock has long been extended to the Confederation, but that it has not yet received a reply: “We’re seeing, they don’t touch the big ones!”
