The works council of BSH Skitroz has announced that it will not participate in the meeting it will hold this Friday in the Moncloa Palace. It will be attended by representatives of the governments of Navarre and Spain, as well as the German leadership of the multinational BSH. They will analyse the "unilateral and unnegotiated" closure of the Esquiroz plant, which the company launched a few weeks ago.
The meeting was promoted by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and was not attended by workers' representatives, as explained by the Works Council itself, "which will represent our interests". The Government of Navarre will present the details of the meeting at a meeting on Saturday. In any event, the Works Council has highlighted the presence in Madrid of the German directors of the BSH group: "This will allow direct dialogue with the Government of Navarra, with which we maintain a close and permanent relationship, and with which we trust".
The workers have called a rally on Friday at 12:00 hours before the offices of the Esquiroz plant, coinciding with the Madrid quote.
