"Brebeta tests are a means of correcting tests in Basque, but they don't want it, it's a political decision."
- The Brebeta test is carried out in Basque by SEASKA students, but the science test is conducted on the last two occasions by French teachers. SEASKA teachers have called for this year’s exams to be corrected in Basque and have announced the election of several educators on the path of disobedience.
In 2017 the science test was added in break, and as in other areas, SEASKA students took the exam in Basque. On that occasion, he spoke to them in Basque. The same did not happen in 2018 as in 2019. Last year there were no break tests for the pandemic and this year, students have ratified their intention to do so in Basque on 28 and 29 June. By letter, SEASKA high school teachers have asked the French Minister of Education, Jean Michel Blanquer, to address the students in Basque. The students have claimed the right to spend both the break and the lower in Basque.
