At the last meeting, the representatives of the Basque Government and the Consortium “did not offer a single point to the variables we demanded to convene the December strikes,” according to the unions. “Its intention is to unilaterally revise the management staff pre-agreement, so they did not submit any negotiation documentation.” They continue to call for a consolidation process to stabilize jobs in order to reduce the temporality rate of workers, as well as free haurreskolas and the integration of haurreskolak into the Department of Education.
On the other hand, the unions have pointed out that the various demonstrations that took place at the meeting on the future of the Haurreskolak Consortium “are of great concern to them”: “Among other things, they called into question the survival of small haurreskolas”.
Thus, five days of strike have been convened between January and February, in defence of the following specific demands: Free admission and integration of the Haurreskolak Consortium in the Department of Education; respect for and compliance with existing agreements; opening of the negotiation of the new employment agreement; completion of the temporary staff rate, stabilizing the robberies; incorporation of the Haurreskolak Consortium in the provision of Personal Protection Teams carried out by Osakidetza in public education; and increase of the budget.
