The unions have called a demonstration for this Friday at 12:00 in the Sacred Heart Square. In the past few days, thousands of people have met in many villages in Bizkaia. In this strike in which all the metal unions in Bizkaia have joined, LAB representative Iratxe Azkue said that “there is increasing anxiety” on the part of the unions in the Basque Government and in the Biscay Federation of Metal Companies, “because they are trying to avoid the debate and protest of the metal of Bizkaia on the street”.
Response of companies to strike

The staff committees of some companies outside the metallurgy sector have also joined the demonstrations and mobilizations.
