The Bilbao Workers’ Self-Defence Network has won the victory in a labour dispute. The operator took over the case of the wrongful dismissal suffered by a 22-year-old girl who served as a waitress at the Irish Stones Pub in Deusto, and as reported this Thursday, her boss has agreed to make the corresponding payment.

After a two-week campaign, the bar owner has paid the worker what he had asked for.
The Bilbao Self-Defense Network has warned that attacks on the working and living conditions of the evicted "have intensified". Faced with this situation, they considered it necessary “to self-defend our interests and our own means”. They have acknowledged that this victory has served them to continue to respond “to the attacks of the capitalist system, organizing self-defense.”
