Biarritz G7 Summit: The next revolt?
- Dyed the sculpture of Oteiza in the Plaza de Bellevue, from Macron to Biarritz and in the end not, the mayor promises “lightened devices” as a true police site, incidents, arrests, wounded. In the absence of eight months, the G7 summit is beginning to become more complicated. On December 18, the newly brought to the plaza of these social jackets joined other demands, be they Euskaldunes, anti-capitalist, environmentalist...
Although some of the elected witnesses are glorified by this summit, more and more people will rise up against this event. For many reasons, as it seems to us that the greatest powers in the world are seriously injured on the planet and, even if fine words are used, they will continue along the same lines, as they have always done. Experts say they will address issues such as climate urgency or social inequalities, among others. Don't choke us into the mares.
For a long time, throughout Euskal Herria, collectives, parties, unions of different colors and trends have begun to work together on the platform called “G7 EZ” to show that there are alternatives and practices in the face of capitalism. The main objective will certainly be to prevent or to obstruct the summit, because it is impossible to understand those who want to keep the privileges of the richest at the expense of the majority. We will not welcome such abominable people as Trump, neither in Euskal Herria nor anywhere!
Do our witnesses want these tragedies to be repeated in the name of money and fame? And what if the protests of these jackets don't go out in the middle of the confused atmosphere? The Mayor of Biarritz is still on time: It must cancel the G7 summit
Thousands of people will come from Euskal Herria and also from Europe to say aloud to the G7, with the risks involved. The lords of Veunac, of Bru, of Etchegaray should take this into account, rather than the puppies of Macron. You just have to see the harsh scenes that the G20 in the city of Hamburg in 2017 caused. Or remember that the G8, organised in Genoa in 2001, murdered a twenty-three-year-old by the police.
Do our witnesses want these tragedies to be repeated in the name of money and fame? And what if the protests of these jackets don't go out in the middle of the confused atmosphere? The Mayor of Biarritz, Michel Veunac, is still in time to do so: It must overturn the G7 summit. Inadequate conditions. And it's over.
