Itaia de Tolosaldea denounces that in the Carnival there was a homophobic attack in the Montezkue neighborhood. Four young boys made homophobic mockery of two other young boys. They state that the aggressors’ attitude was breaking down and that the young people who were being assaulted “had to flee overwhelmed with fear of increasing the intensity of the attack.”

From Itaia de Tolosaldea they have conveyed their support and solidarity to the assaulted and neighbouring people. “Such homophobic aggressions are by no means isolated situations and reactionary attitudes against oppressed groups, and especially the growing numbers of young people, problems of extreme gravity,” said Tolosaldeko Itaia.
