The Basque University of Summer (UEU) has published a book with material for reflection and debate on bertsolarism and feminism. The title of the book is Bertsolaritza from feminism (bir) and has been coordinated by bertsolaris and researchers Miren Artetxe and Ane Labaka. The main objective of this book is to give a proper and visible place to the research and reflections that are being carried out on these themes, as well as to guide, complete and disseminate future reflections.
The starting point of the book is the summer course of the UEU Bertsolaritza from the gender perspective that was held last year in Pamplona, and Artetxe and Labaka have said that their work has, in short, been collecting some of the works that have been done so far, looking at Bertsolaritza from a feminist perspective.
