The City of Berrioplano rejects the fence that the Spanish Army intends to build in Ezkaba
- The Armed Forces of Spain are carrying out opening work in the shooting range of Aitzoain (Navarra), as reported by the National Police. At present, these lands are used as grassland or forest exploits for livestock. The population of the Region of Pamplona is also dedicated to leisure, both on foot and by bike.
According to the News Journal, the mayor of Berrioplano (Navarre Suma) has relied on the report prepared by the municipal secretariat to reject the request of the military. The report consists of four areas of the Government of Navarre: the Community Land Section, the strategy and regional planning, the environment and the historical memory.
In addition, the City Council report has shown that this is a matter of ownership of the land on which the works are intended, since the military say that they are owned by them and the City Hall considers that the current register clearly shows that the land belongs to several municipal entities.
