Lamixene teams from Bera and Bertsonautak from Malerreka at semi-finals
- In Elgorriaga, Estella, Barañain and Pamplona/Iruña the performances of the second weekend of the Bertsolaris Championship of Navarra, five in total, have been disputed. In the absence of a final weekend of the first phase, two teams have achieved direct classification for the semi-finals.
Five sessions have been disputed in the second weekend of the Bardos 2020, and some things have already begun to be clarified for the semi-finals. With the weekend, 10 of the 13 sessions of the first phase have already been disputed, and in the absence of a weekend, Lamixene de Bera and Bertsonautak of Malerreka have won the ticket for semi-finals.
Three meetings were held on 7 February. In the first, played in the hostel of Elgorriaga, the Bertsonautas of the region and Larraun of Araitz are confronted. Two dozen groups participated in the song, and the first got the point, with Maialen Kamino being in charge of putting the themes. About 50 people congregated in the inn, in a spectacular atmosphere.
The second session on Friday took place at the Gaztetxe de Barañain, and the Bertsopiztiak and Pirini Bardo groups in the valleys of Erroibar and Aezkoa faced a total of 30 people. Zuhara Zaratiegi and Idurre Villanueva were in charge of putting the issues to bertsolaris. In the end, the point stayed at home.
At the same time, Estella’s session was held at the Society Cincta Geroa in this town. There, about 40 people sang the Bardenas de Estella and the recommended Atekaberts groups of Leitza. The visiting team took the point of the program.
On 8 February, the programme was held in the Association of Maldi of Pamplona, with the presence of the Drimtin and Lamixene premises of Bera. Xabier Terreros was the host to more than 50 people. In the end, Bera's team got the point, adding the second to two sessions, thus certifying the classification for the semi-finals.
On 9 February, finally, the programme was at the Akelamendi Society of Barañain, where the Ipar Haizea and Bertsonautak groups of Malerreka met. The latter was the one who added his second point, so the pass was secured to the semi-finals, where he remained in second position.
Three sessions to end the first phase
Next weekend, the last three eliminators of the first phase of the Bardos, in Leitza, Lesaka and Ochagavía, will be disputed, and it will then be when the semi-finals are defined. The teams are now divided into four groups and six teams move to the next phase: the first of the four groups, the second of the group D, and the best of the second classified between groups A, B and C.
