It is said that the bards walked from village to village singing centuries ago, turning the stories of the citizens into history so that they would not be forgotten. Once again, the bards have traveled from village to village in Navarre, sewing the territory from east to west in verse. The group initiative ended with a beautiful final at the Toki Alai cider house in Lekunberri.

The tickets had already been completed, so the 'Addams Family' of Baztan and Malerreka, the 'Expediente Cambio' of Leitza and the 'Universalistas' of Lesaka performed in front of 200 planned listeners. After 113 participants sang every weekend from February to the end of March in youth clubs, bars and associations, young faces stood out among the twelve finalists. Both young and older people showed that they all have experience. In fact, it is humor and freshness that characterizes the verses of the Bardos, and so was the performance we heard in Lekunberri. A warm and lively atmosphere was created in the cider house, and the three groups formed a nice session. With guitars, costumes and other accessories on their backs, the bertsolaris set the bar high with special greetings, from which the program did not go down. Despite being a team initiative, the level of bertsolaris proved once again that the Bards have no envy for other tournaments. Since the exercises for the verse were varied, each had the opportunity to show different aspects of their singing, a diversity that the public appreciated. The representatives of the groups that did not participate in the final and some listeners were responsible for judging the program. In the end, although he was paired, the main prize went to the Leitza team.

However, collaboration, work in the neighborhood and collectivity are the foundation of the Bardos, which was also rewarded on Sunday. In addition to the verses, there is a lot of work behind an initiative of this type, and it was intended to highlight the enthusiasm placed and the commitment made. In addition to the teams that participated in the final, other teams that participated in the initiative received well-deserved prizes: Those who have represented "Team Revelation", "Best Merit", "Best Greeting", "Best Organization" and "The Spirit of the Bards" also had the opportunity to take the stage. In this case, different voices took over the square of the cider house of Lekunberri and ended the program with humor and irony.

After all, the Bardos are a festival of bertsolarismo and Basque culture in Navarre, an extraordinary excuse to strengthen the network of bertso-schools and enjoy them together. And for that, what better way than to gather in the cider house. Once the scoring final was finished, a final of rhymes and free measures began to take place through the streets of Lekunberri.
