The Alaitz Institute of Barañain will maintain during the course 2024/2025 the two Baccalaureate classrooms of the modalities of Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences. Education announced the elimination of a line after pre-enrolment, as can be seen from the data of each moment, and 26 students were left out, without a place. Following the protests of the families of the affected students, Alaitz has rectified and approved the initial forecast that Education made at the end of the process of maintaining the two classrooms.
The Foral Government considers that the supply and demand of Model D seats are "technically and rationally" balanced within the scope of influence of Pamplona and the region.
The area of Educational Planning has added about fifteen groups of ESO and Baccalaureate in the entire educational network, one of them has been the one corresponding to the first year of Baccalaureate of IES Alaitz.
