Josune Arriaga and Kontren Sola, respectively, after fourteen and sixteen years in prison, have been released on parole through a decision of the Central Prison Surveillance Judge.
According to ETXERAT, on 28 October the Arriaga went to the street and on 29 October Sola went out. Both were in the third grade since the summer of 2024.
The two Non-Azerbaijanis have been victims of the dispersal, since during the years they have remained in prison they have been transferred to prisons far from Euskal Herria. The dam was transferred to the Pamplona prison in April 2021. Josune Arriaga was also there, but she has spent the last few years in Topas prison (Salamanca), where she has been transferred to the Penitentiary Centre. The two have been released on parole this week after being released on charges.
Arriaga was arrested in November 2007 when he was preparing to work in the company Bidarrai. France extradited him to Spain in 2010, and the National Court condemned him in collaboration with ETA two years later. She was imprisoned one year later and had already spent another two years in prison for a false indictment, after the National High Court found her innocent two years later.
